The project involves the execution and completion of the Marina Landside Facilities for Yas Island development in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for a contract sum of AED234.9 million (approximately RM270 million).
The Yas Yacht Club comprises of two buildings. Building 1 is the more expressive and prominent of the two, it incorporates various 5-star club uses including restaurants, bars, lounges, function rooms, outdoor decks and a 45-metre observation tower. Building 2 houses the retail and administration components. It features a waist-shaped glass internal courtyard and maintains a quieter profile.
The Yas Yacht Club is a world class yacht club providing full service, state-of-the-art berthing facilities. The club’s signature architecture provides a beacon of pre-eminence for the unique structure located at the entrance to the luxurious marina.
The works was completed in the fourth quarter of 2009.
