On 13 July 2009, WCT Berhad was awarded the contract for the construction and completion of infrastructure works in Medini Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia under Package Infra 1, 2, 3 and 4. The project is spread over 941 hectares (2402 acres) of land and the earthwork volume exceeded 5 million cubic metres.
The scope of works comprises earthwork, drainage, roads and pavement, water reticulation, sewerage works, soil investigation, M&E infrastructure works, sewerage pumping station, electricity sub-stations and 33KV main distribution sub-stations
The total contract value is approximately RM766 million.
