This project involves the construction and completion of the The Bahrain City Center project for Majid Al-Futtaim Investments L.L.C., UAE. Cebarco-WCT W.L.L.* is the main contractor of the development while WCT Berhad has 50% equity in Cebarco-WCT W.L.L. It includes the construction of the following:
- Approximately 250,000 sq. m retail shopping floor
- Approximately 150,000 sq. m multiple car park building
- Hotel 1 & 2 shells
- A theme park
- A water park
- 20 Cineplexes
- Interior Fittings & Finishes
- Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing
- Exterior Landscaping, Drainage, etc.
Contract Sum: RM 1.6 billion
Completion Date: 10th September 2008.
