Having successfully completed two modern era international F1 circuits in 1998 and 2004, the Yas Marina Circuit, completed in 2009 is another feather in WCT’s cap. The Yas Marina Circuit was the host to the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix on 1 November 2009. Located in YAS Island, the 5.554 km, 21 turns circuit is distinctly divided into two parts – the 3km prominent stretch (used by everyday traffic) and 2.5km F1 Racing Track. The racing circuit includes three fluid segments, with a permanent track and high-speed straights capped by tight corner, a street section and another section by the marina, giving it a Monaco-like atmosphere.
The project includes other features such as: Race Track, Dune Buggy Track, Go-Karting Track, Drag Strips, Off-Road Vehicle Track, Grandstand, Pit Buildings, Media Centre, VIP Tower (Sun Tower), Golf Course, Polo Fields, Equatorial Arenas and Business Centre, and other infrastructures and safety features in compliance with FIA requirements and regulations. This RM4.3 billion project was awarded the CIDB Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award under the International Achievement Award category in 2010.

• Construction, completion and maintenance of the Yas Marina Circuit. It also includes the grandstands, facilities and buildings, dune buggy track, off road vehicle track, go karting track and drag strip.
