On 20 October 2010, WCT Berhad was awarded a contract by Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia for the design, construction, completion, equipping, commissioning and maintenance of the Tuaran Hospital in Sabah, Malaysia.
The project forms the expansion of existing Tuaran Hospital. The scope of work covers all design, construction, equipping, commissioning and maintenance for the Tuaran Hospital (Phase II). The project consists of the following components:
A new 76 beds Medical Complex (4-storey, including M&E room on level 4) with 14,000 sqm built up area. Linkway from Existing Hospital Building to New Medical Complex Central Utility Building Recreational Area
Following the successful completion of the project, WCT acquired the Occupancy Certificate from the local authorities in October 2013, and subsequently, the Certificate of Practical Completion in February 2014.
The project was completed in October 2013.
